Theresa Evelyn Stewart (Nen), age 81 of Evansville, passed away Sunday at the Terrace at Solarbron. Theresa was a homemaker who enjoyed sitting on the porch with neighbors and grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to yard sales.
She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ at 12th Ave and Michigan Street.
Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Terri Lee and Bruce Herrenbruck of Evansville, along with her two sisters, Emma and Homer Brown of Lisman, Kentucky and Mary and Jessie Crews of Stager, Illinois. Two Grandchildren Nick Herrenbruck and his wife, Amanda, Laura Humphrey and her husband, Derek, and a great grandson, Joel Bulkley and her favorite pet dog “baby”.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM Thursday June 21, 2012 at Pierre Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Lynn Marino and Rev. Jeff Long. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 until 7 PM Wednesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W Franklin Street. Friends may also visit from 10:00 until service time on Thursday.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Specialty Home Health Care especially Debbie, Joseph, Megan and June, to the staff and family of Solarbron and Dr. David Hayes and staff.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s UCC,
2227 W. Michigan Street, Evansville, In 47712.
