Obituary:
Alice Elpers Keil, 48, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Keil was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vanderburgh County. She was a homemaker and enjoyed volunteering for her children’s activities. Alice is survived by her husband of 27 years, Larry Keil; her two daughters, Laura and Emily Keil and her son, Daniel Keil all of Evansville; her father, William L. Elpers of Darmstadt, IN; two sisters, Elaine Santone and her husband Larry of Walnut Creek, CA and Donna Blythe and her husband Tom of Darmstadt, IN; a brother, Bill Elpers of Evansville and a very close cousin, Connie Corbett of Evansville. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Steven Fechtmeister, Jennifer Granger, Jessica, Abigail and Arthur Santone and Katie, Matthew and Melissa Blythe. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marian (Schneider) Elpers in 1990. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday at Pierre Funeral Home, continuing at 10:00A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vanderburgh County, Revs. Eugene Schroeder and Dave Fleck officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street where a memorial service will be held at 5:00 P.M. The family requests memorial contributions are made to St. Joseph Catholic Church (Vanderburgh County), 6202 W. St. Joseph Road, Evansville, IN 47720
