Mark Robert Caputo, age 50, of Evansville, passed away Monday, January 04, 2010 at Deaconess Hospital.
Mr. Caputo was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and a field mechanic with the Operating Engineers Local #181.
Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Sandy (Miller) Caputo; two sons, James R. Caputo and Michael A. Caputo, both of Evansville; his mother, Helen (Long) Caputo of Evansville; two sisters, Cecilia Jarboe and Tina Caputo, both of Evansville; two brothers, Michael Caputo of Evansville and David Caputo of Collinsville, IL. Also surviving are several aunts and uncles and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Ralph R. Caputo in November of 2009.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Rev. Jim Blessinger officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street, where there will be a memorial service held at 5:00 P.M. Friends may also visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Thursday at Corpus Christi.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
