Jaclyn Arzoian, age 98, of Evansville, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2010 at Core Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Arzoian had owned and operated Jackie’s Stagecoach Bar in Hollywood, CA. She was a welder on the LST’s and was sent to New Orleans to weld seamless steel gun turrets and received the Navy “E” for excellence.
Surviving are her son, John Thomas “Tommy” Tucker, Sr. and his wife, Carmen of Wadesville; three grandchildren, John Thomas “Tommy” Tucker, Jr. and his wife, Mary, Marilyn Pennington and husband, Paul and Carolyn Sue Fiestel. Also surviving are eight great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren and a cousin, Agnes Condor, who was her same age and like sister to her.
Funeral services for Jackie will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Pierre Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Mausoleum.
Friends may visit from 3:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
