Robert D. Fisher, 59, of Whitehouse, Tennessee, formerly of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in Nashville, TN.
Mr. Fisher was a CT/Radiologic Technologist at the VAMC in Nashville, TN. He was an avid Ham Radio operator and enjoyed fishing. He had been a volunteer firefighter in Indianapolis and in Whitehouse, TN. He also served as a Reserve Deputy with the Robertson County Sheriff Department. He graduated from North High School in 1969.
He is survived by his brother, Rick Fisher and his wife, Patty, of Evansville, his aunt, Dorothy Jones of St. Charles, MO and his long time companion, Bettye Joines of Whitehouse, TN. Also surviving are his niece, Laura Fisher and nephews, Jon and Michael Fisher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clovis and Mildred (Jones) Fisher.
Friends may visit with the family from Noon until 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Michael Stoelting officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
