Mary Lou (Menner) Kueber, 80, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Mrs. Kueber was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and was a devoted mother and farm wife. She took pride in taking care of her home, her children and grandchildren.
Surviving Mary Lou are her husband of 59 years, Clement Kueber; her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Don Hahn of Mt. Vernon; three sisters, Carolyn Scales of Lynnville, Marianne Wagner of Evansville and Lois Butts of Mt. Vernon; two brothers, William Menner and Clyde Morehead, both of Evansville. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Alex, Ashley and Abby Hahn and a niece who was very close to her, Staci Market.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Tindle and Clara York and a brother, Jim Morehead.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Ken Steckler officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum.
Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street, where there will be a memorial service held at 4:00 P.M.
