Ronald Ray Lipking, 70, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Deaconess Hospital.
Mr. Lipking was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Haubstadt and had worked as a mechanic for Hocker Power Brake Company and at the AMAX Ayrschire Mine in Chandler. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Doretha (Steckler) Lipking; one daughter, Lisa Postin of Evansville; four sons, Chris Lipking and his wife, Mary of Wadesville, Rodney Lipking and his wife, Sara, Steve Lipking and his wife, Gina and Dennis Lipking, all of Evansville; two brothers, David and Dan Lipking of Evansville and nine grandchildren, Austin, Cyrstal, Corey, Samantha, Bryce, Jordan and Taylor Lipking, Andrew Heinlin and Justin Postin.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 12, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church, Rev. Kenneth Betz officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit with family from 1:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Sunday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street, where there will be a memorial service held at 5 P.M. Friends may also visit with the family from 9:30 A.M. until service time on Monday at St. James.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. James Catholic Church or a favorite charity.
