Matthew Hayden, age 26, of Evansville, passed away Monday, May 3, 2010.
Matt was a laborer and a member of the Laborer’s International Union. He was also a member of Tekoppel Baptist Church and an avid deer hunter, fisherman and Indianapolis Colts fan.
Surviving Matt are his wife, Kerri (Quirk) Hayden; son, Christian Hayden at home; his parents, Tom and Lyn (Springer) Hayden of Evansville; his brother, Jeremy Hayden of Evansville; his grandparents, Eveline Hayden and Bill and Mary Springer, all of Evansville; his father-in-law, Christopher (Monica) Quirk, Sr. and mother-in-law, Yuthana (Dwight) Muntzer, all of Evansville. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Allison (Mark) Hyatt of Poseyville and Ashley Quirk of Evansville; three brothers-in-law, Christopher Quirk, Jr., Jonah Quirk and Rahmel Muntzer, all of Evansville; his aunt, Karen Dollison of Evansville; his aunt and uncle, Cindy and Bob Young of Elberfeld; uncle, Danny Hayden of Wadesville; cousins, Danny Dollison of Evansville and Ashley Sullenger of Elberfeld and a nephew, Gage Hayden.
Matt was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Hayden and an uncle, Larry Springer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Guy Quirk, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Integra Bank branch, c/o Christian Hayden Educational Fund, 130 N. St. Joseph Ave., Evansville, IN 47712.
