Thelma Ruby Hargan, age 98, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Woodlands Convalescent Center in Newburgh.
She was born April 14, 1912 in Evansville. Mrs. Hargan was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary at the church.
Surviving are her daughter, Jean Thurman of Newburgh; granddaughter and caregiver, Dehna Beswick; dear friend, Kenny Demoss; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Elton Hargan in 1983 and a daughter, Jacqueline Bowders in 2000.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Pierre Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
