Beatrice N. (Bruckner) Sidenbender Bacle, age 88, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Pine Haven Health and Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Bacle was of the Catholic faith and had worked at Atlas Department Store for 40 years and had retired from Hill’s Department Store. She was a lifetime member of the Owls, VFW Post #1114 Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Funkhouser Post #8 Auxiliary. She enjoyed bingo, dancing and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her son-in-law, Kenneth R. Maurer; three grandchildren, Kenneth V. Maurer, Jeff Maurer and Mary (John) Shadrick and a great grandchild, Dalton Shadrick, all of Evansville. Also surviving is a nephew, Gary (Carol) Sidenbender of Wadesville.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her first husband, Vernon Sidenbender, second husband, James Bacle and her daughter, Annette (Sidenbender) Maurer.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vanderburgh County, Rev. Eugene Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may visit from 3:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
