Kalley Kennedy, 92 of Evansville, passed away, Wednesday, July 20, 2010 at the Heritage Center.
Mr. Kennedy retired after 33 years with British Petroleum. He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Kalley was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Masonic Lodge # 1 of Vincennes, IN, the Scottish Rite, Hadi Shrine Temple, Hadi Shrine Golf League, and former member of the Barbershop Chorus.
Kalley was preceded in death by his first wife, Millie Kennedy and a brother, Clarence Kennedy.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Kennedy, two stepdaughters and their husbands, Marcy and Mark Powers and Elaine and Ron Inkenbrandt, all of Evansville; one sister, Betty Bennington and her husband, Seifert of Port Charlotte, FL and a brother, Bob Kennedy and his wife, Betty of Terre Haute. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Joseph Inkenbrandt, Cory Stone, Stephanie Burns and Stacy Powers, three great grandchildren, Addie, Will and Sophie Stone, and two nieces and two nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 24, 2010 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church located at 2300 Washington Ave, Pastor Don Gray and Chaplain Greg Barnett officiating.
Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M. Saturday at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
The family wishes to thank the care-givers at Heritage Center and Heritage Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hadi Shrine Transportation Fund.
