Paul Edgar Adam, age 87, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the Woodbridge Golden Living Center.
Paul attended the University of Evansville and Trinity Lutheran Church. He was active in scouting and the Evansville Stamp Club of which he was president for many years. He worked at Hercules Truck Body, Evansville Metals, Reliance Plastics, Indian Industries and retired from Mel-Kay Electric.
Paul spent the last several years of his life in the nursing home with his final care under Heritage Hospice.
Surviving are three sons, Paul Edward (Julia) Adam of Evansville, Jerome Kenneth Adam of San Antonio, NM and James Henry (Sandra) Adam of Henderson. Also surviving are her granddaughter, Paula Adam and grandsons, Brian Adam, Matthew Adam, Jerome Adam and Benjamin Adam; six step grandchildren, five great grandchildren and fourteen step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Wade Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Hospice, 1202 W. Buena Vista Road, Evansville.
