Brad A Hinderliter

Brad A. Hinderliter, age 41, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, July 07, 2016 at the Deaconess Hospice Care Center. Brad was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church. He attended Harrison High School, participated in Special Olympics and currently was a client of the Arc of Evansville where he had many friends. Brad enjoyed watching games shows and movies, listening to music, and spending time with his family and friends. He communicated with gestures and signs, and loved to wink at people and give them hugs. Brad reached out to strangers and taught us about acceptance by embracing diversity in people and making others happy through his cheerful smile and charming laughter. Brad helped those who knew him put life in perspective by reminding us that it is the people in one’s life that really matter and he will be missed dearly by his parents, family and friends. Surviving Brad are his parents, Keith and Karen (Marrs) Hinderliter; two sisters and their husbands, Shanna and Kurt Messersmith and Audrey and Andrew Niemeier; grandparents, Sharon Hinderliter and Don and Kathleen Marrs; aunts and uncles, Linda and Gary Marksberry, Mark and Beth Hinderliter, Julie and Andy Chandler, Jeff and Maureen Hinderliter and Cynthia Marrs; nieces and nephews, Jada Paul, Evan and Cody Messersmith, Spencer, Mason, Nolan, Evelyn and Ruby Niemeier, several great aunts and uncles and many cousins. Brad was preceded in death by his grandfather, Morris “Hank” Hinderliter and by an aunt, Lisa Marrs Weyer. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 11, 2016 at St. Philip Catholic Church, Rev. Claude Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Philip Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Sunday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street, where there will be a memorial service conducted by the church at 5:00 P.M. Friends may also visit with the family from 9:30 A.M. until service time on Monday at St. Philip Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to ARC of Evansville, 615 W.
