DELEAH KOCH Deleah Rose (Dee) Schroeder Koch, 46, of Evansville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 26, 2006 at Deaconess Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Dee was born February 22, 1960 in Evansville. She graduated from North Posey High School in 1978 and the University of Evansville with a Bachelor of Liberal Sciences degree. She had worked at Berry Plastics, DSM Plastics and was currently employed at Omni Plastics. She was a member and secretary of the local chapter of the Society of Plastic Engineers. She was a lifetime member of Zion-Lippe United Church of Christ, where she was very active. She was a member of the Zion Women’s Guild and the Senior Choir and was currently serving as Worship chairperson of the Zion Church Council. She had served as facilitator of the Zion Family of Faith Retreat, was a former counselor at Merom Church Camp, Zion Senior Youth advisor and Bible School director. She taught Sunday School for over 20 years and served as Sunday School Superintendent for several years. Dee was always ministering to people in her own special way. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth (Bockelman) Schroeder on January 7, 2006. Dee is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Daniel Koch; her father, Harold Schroeder; sister, Sandra Willett and her husband, Ron; brother, Terry Schroeder and his wife, Mary Jane; sister, Darlene Bosse and her husband, Carl; brother, Richard Schroeder and his wife, Anna and brother, Orvel Schroeder and his wife, Vicki; nieces and nephews, Joli and Amber Willett; Zachary, Gabriel and Robin Schroeder; Megan, Katelin and Alexandra Schroeder and Patrick, Adam and Andrew Schroeder. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, March 30, 2006 at Zion-Lippe United Church of Christ, 9000 E. Copperline Road, Mt. Vernon, IN, Rev. Kenneth Scherry officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2 until 8 P.M. Wednesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street and from 9 A.M. until service time Thursday at Zion-Lippe United Church of Christ. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses, chaplain and guest relations at Deaconess Hospital for their support to the family.
