Elizabeth Ann Daily

Elizabeth Ann Daily, 85, of Evansville, passed away at her home on Sunday, August 4, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Elizabeth was born October 29, 1938 in Evansville to the late Freddie and Delilah (Mills) Templeton. She was married to her husband Jack, the love of her life, for 63 years until his death in 2021. She was a graduate of Wadesville High School and lived in Wadesville for 21 years before getting married to Jack. Elizabeth was a member of the Hilltoppers Extension Homemakers for many years and Tops IN 443 Evansville for over 25 years. She was also a member of the Mixed Nuts card club for many years. Elizabeth loved her time making Christmas ornaments for all of her children and special friends and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She enjoyed attending Reitz High School football games. Surviving Elizabeth are two daughters, Yvonne (Rick) Wahl and Rose Ann (Mark) Norman, both of Evansville; two sons, Danny Lee (Merry) Daily of Calvert City, KY and Thomas L. (Angela) Daily of Owensboro, KY; sisters, Beulah Mae Dielkes, Savannah Rae Brawdy and Charlotte Molinet; grandchildren, Christopher (Jamie) Wahl, Nicholas (Amanda) Wahl, Nathan (Kira) Wahl, Brandon (Joanie) Norman, Ashley (Jason) Majors, Marcus (Jen) Daily, Danyele (Aaron) Story, Joshua (Kaylan) Daily, Christina Ramsey and Tori Smith; great grandchildren, Porter, Hartley, Lynnden, Hunter, Moorley and Elody Marie Wahl, Jansen (Andrew) Ritter, Kiera Belle and Landon Story, Kole Smith, Addison and Andrew Daily, Austin (Jamie) Daugherty, Summer and Kaylyn Bergwitz, Arah, Noah and Natalie Majors; by two great great grandchildren, Crew and Tatum Daugherty, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Daily and by three brothers, Kenneth, Joseph and Ralph Templeton and by a sister, Ina Neal. Funeral services for Elizabeth will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street, Pastor Christopher Templeton officiating. Burial will follow in Tupman Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
