Elizabeth Rose Seng

Elizabeth Rose Seng, 25, passed away tragically while traveling abroad in India with her boyfriend Mohit Prakash. Elizabeth was born on July 21st, 1998 to Mark and Sarah (Macke) Seng in Evansville, Indiana. Elizabeth graduated from Mater Dei High School in 2017 and the University of Southern Indiana in 2021 before following one of her many dreams of becoming a resident of San Francisco, California. Elizabeth will always be remembered for her glowing smile and shining spirit. Her childhood nickname was ‘Sparkles’ which she earned by her glittering personality and infectious laugh that she shared throughout her life. She was known for her huge heart, old soul, thoughtfulness, goofy self, and true spicy spunk. Lizzy loved to laugh and to make others laugh too. Elizabeth had a true giving spirit and she gave all she could for those she loved while expecting nothing in return. Elizabeth had a way of making everyone feel like they were truly seen and loved beyond measure. She didn’t conform to the norm and lived life exactly how she wanted. Lizzy was a true animal lover and despiser of spiders. She will be deeply missed by her closest furry friends, Bear, Waylon and Willow. She had an affection for horses and shared their wild, running spirit and peaceful demeanor. Elizabeth had a passion for art, photography, and travel. She used her talents to capture the beauty in all people, places, and things and to create many true masterpieces. Elizabeth had a huge heart and many passions but the greatest of these was her family. Lizzy was everything her parents could have hoped for her to be - loving, kind, intelligent, funny, hardworking, dedicated and adventurous. Lizzy could warm your heart and fill your soul with joy with a wink and a smile. She was a devoted sister and absolutely adored her brothers, Wyatt and Evan, and sister, Audrey. She was their number one fan and greatest supporter. Elizabeth was enamored by her nephew, Weston and niece, Reese and they adored her just the same. Spending time with family was one of Elizabeth’s highest priorities. Lizzy lived for adventure and was always planning her next destination. Her final days were spent doing some of her favorite things—traveling, experiencing beauty and exploring the country and culture of India. Elizabeth was able to share her light with Mohit and his family. They share our love and loss of the great light that was Elizabeth. When visiting a castle, she said she felt like a real princess—Elizabeth will always be our beautiful, smiling princess. Surviving Elizabeth are her parents, Mark and Sarah (Macke) Seng; brothers Wyatt (Sarah) Seng and Evan Seng; sister, Audrey Seng; her niece and nephew, Reese and Weston Seng and grandparents, Don and Shirley Seng. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Margaret Macke and by her uncle, David Macke. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Rev. Bill Nicholas officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W.
