Eloise E Juncker

Eloise Elizabeth Juncker, 91, of Mt. Vernon, went to be with the Lord February 16, 2017 at her home in rural Posey County. She was born January 22, 1926 in that same home to Charles M.H. and Alma (Esche) Juncker. Eloise retired from Mead Johnson after more than 36 years where she was a member of the Women’s Club. She was also a licensed cosmetologist. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader, and she enjoyed traveling with family and friends. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church. Eloise was a season ticket holder of the University of Evansville Aces Men’s Basketball team. She enjoyed supporting events, ball teams and activities that her younger family members participated in. She was considered a second mother or grandmother to her younger family members, spending time with them, which she greatly enjoyed. Eloise was known for her thoughtful generosity and kindness. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Norbett M. Juncker, Rawlin S. Juncker; and Wilton C. Juncker and her sister-in-law Opal L. (Schroeder) Juncker. Surviving Eloise is her sister-in-law, Virginia A. (Hall) Juncker, of Mount Vernon; two nieces, Debra L. (Ronald) Linstromberg of Hudson, Ind., and Ann G. (Glenn "Butch") Proctor of Mt. Vernon and Indianapolis; five nephews, Robert D. (Linda) Juncker of Mt. Vernon, Dennis L. (Debbie) Juncker of Mount Vernon, Randy C. Juncker of Mt. Vernon, Brian P. (Pamela) Juncker of Haubstadt, and James M. (Shana) Juncker of Mount Vernon. Also surviving are 16 great nieces and nephews, Jamie Grabert, Ryan (Anna) Linstromberg, Jennifer (Adam) Heim, Sarah Linstromberg, Jason (Megan) Linstromberg, Theresa Juncker, Kellie Grabert, Shawn (Maggie) Spindler, Lisa (Cal) Springsteen, Adam (Lauren) Juncker, Michael (Hilliary) Juncker, Stephanie Juncker, Alyssa, Emily, Daniel and Faith Juncker; and 18 great-great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church 2800 S. St. Phillips Rd., Evansville, IN, with Pastor Kevin Petty officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial at the church cemetery will follow.
