John Becher Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

John A. Becher, age 56, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Mr. Becher had worked in sales for Perfection Hydraulics. He enjoyed gardening and had a “green thumb.” Surviving John are his wife of 34 years, Terrie (Phillips) Becher; two daughters, Mikaelah Becher and Anna (Josh) Prather, both of Evansville; three sons, Jonah (Chaddie) Becher, Noah Becher and Peter Isaiah Becher, all of Evansville; a sister, Betty (George) Postleweight of Mt. Vernon, IN and three brothers, Jerry (Susette) Becher of Cincinnati, OH, Earl (Claudette) Becher of St. Joe, MI and Ed (Judy) Becher of Mt. Vernon, IN. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Landon Yamamoto, Avery Prather and Brylee Becher. John was preceded in death by his parents, Alphonse and Hildegard (Braunecker) Becher and a brother, Norbert Becher. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 5, 2012 at Pierre Funeral Home, Kent Hartmann officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Sunday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
