Marian M Fehrenbacher

Marian M. Fehrenbacher, 96, of Evansville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Linda E. White Hospice House surrounded by her family. Marian was born November 24, 1924 in Evansville to the late Adam and Margaret (Dippel) Bauer. She worked for Swift Packing Company, Lewis Alles and Koch Label. Marian was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vanderburgh County. During her life, Marian enjoyed going to dances, playing cards with family and friends and traveling at home and abroad. She faithfully cheered on the St. Louis Cardinals. Surviving Marian are a daughter, Barbara Mooney; sons, David (Betty) Fehrenbacher, Richard (Judy) Fehrenbacher, Mark (Debbie) Fehrenbacher and Terry (Julie) Fehrenbacher; two sisters, Lorine Hammers and Bertha (Ron Hall) Michelini; twelve grandchildren, Beth (Tim) Haefner, Greg (Julie) Mooney, Tony (Ginny) Mooney, David (Emily) Fehrenbacher, Elissa (Josh) Paulson, Kenny Fehrenbacher, Tresa (Eric) Goebel, Andrea Fehrenbacher, Melissa (Erik) Chandler, Traci (Chris) Davis, Brandon (Kerri) Fehrenbacher and Paul (Beth) Fehrenbacher, twenty great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Fehrenbacher in 2015; by sisters, Mildred Keller and Doris Wiehle; by two brothers, Albert and Elmer Bauer; by a son-in-law, John Mooney and a great grandson, Wilbur John Fehrenbacher. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 19, 2021 at St. Joseph Church in Vanderburgh County. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until 6:00 PM on Sunday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street, where there will be a memorial service conducted by the church at 5:00 PM. Friends may also visit from 10:00 AM until service time on Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 6202 W. St. Joseph Road, Evansville, IN 47720.
