MARY KATHLEEN BECK Mary Kathleen (Wolf) Beck, 77, of Evansville, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at the Solarbron Terrace. Mary was born the sixth child of the late Albert H. and Martha R. (Biggs) Wolf. She was a 1962 graduate of Mater Dei High School and had worked for Hartke Insurance for many years. Mary was a longtime member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and a current member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. She was very active in her church, serving as a cantor at Mass and in her younger years she was involved in her children’s school functions and with the Westside Catholic School PTA. Mary was a loving and generous people person. Mary enjoyed being a member of a bowling league and visiting with her friends at the Donut Bank. She was also in a couple of different card clubs with friends for over 50 years. Surviving Mary are her husband of 56 years, Henry “Hank” Beck; two sons, Aaron Beck of Evansville and Steven (Olivia Charlene) Beck of Farmington, MI; two granddaughters, Bailey Renee (Colton) Westerfield and Madison Kathleen (Trent) Beck; sisters, Judith Gayle Whitney of St. Paul, MN and Barbara Sue (David) Winstead of Evansville; a brother, James Michael Wolf of Evansville; numerous God children, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her siblings and their spouses, Martha Ann and Bob Feldhaus, Albert “Patrick” (Hilda) Wolf; Thomas Leo (Joann) Wolf; brother-in-law, Ted Whitney; sister-in-law, Jo Wolf and by a nephew, Jeffrey Allen Wolf. Funeral services for Mary will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street, Rev. John Brosmer officiating. Burial will follow in Tupman Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home. The family requests that anyone who attends please wear a mask to help protect themselves and others.
