September 10, 1942 - March 17, 2020

Carolyn Sue (Raben) Evans, 77, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020 surrounded by her family. Carolyn was born September 10, 1942 in Decatur, IL to the late Henry J. “Butch” and Evelyn (Flittner) Raben. She loved caring for her family, her home, gardening and boating. She was a former member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Surviving Carolyn are her daughter, Amy (Kevin) Harris of Newburgh; three sons, Dirk Evans, Bryce (Jennifer) Evans and Elliot (Cindy) Evans, all of Evansville; five sisters, Madonna (Norb) Niemeier, Sharon (Tim) Bradley, Angie Barr, Jennifer (Mike Ziliak) Raben and Cindy (Jerry) Muensterman; seven brothers, Tom (Clara) Raben, Phillip (Sandy) Raben, Mark (Lesa) Raben, Larry Raben, Jeff (Lisa) Raben, James (Judy) Raben and Jon (Barb) Raben; grandchildren, Evan (Kelly) Rawlins, Elizabeth (Scott) Kraus, Isaac (Brittani) Evans, Noah Evans, Madeline (Caleb) Menke, Mitchell Evans, Halle Evans, Megan Evans, Lauren Evans and Rachel Evans and three great grandchildren, Macie, Brady and Calum. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Donald Evans in 2012 and by a son, Craig Evans in 1995. Due to the current circumstances regarding COVID-19, visitation and funeral services will be private. Entombment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.
