Charles A. Jarvis, 92, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Deaconess Hospital Midtown Campus. Charlie was born November 26, 1928 in Evansville to the late Alvin Jack and Anisia (Baehl) Jarvis. He retired from Whirlpool Corporation as a General Supervisor after 31 years of service; was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Twin Towers and Knights of Columbus Council #565. Charlie enjoyed playing clabber and golf, especially at the Howell Par 3. Surviving Charlie are two daughters, Kathy Price of Evansville and Angie (Rob) Ferguson of Columbus, IN; one son, Mike (Sherry) Jarvis of Evansville; two sisters, Rita Eades and Patricia Gregory; four grandchildren, Rachel (Sami) Price, Meghan (Ryan) Lewis, Robbie Ferguson and John Ferguson and five great grandchildren, Tyler, Caleb and Dalton Lewis and Finley and Olivia Price. In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Rosalee (Steckler) Jarvis in 2019; by a daughter, Julie Jarvis in 2016 and by a brother, Larry Jarvis. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Rev. Jason Gries officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street and from 9:30 AM until service time on Saturday at Holy Redeemer Church, 918 W. Mill Road, Evansville, IN 47710.
