Connie Mishell Reader, 60, of Chandler, IN passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at Deaconess Hospital Gateway Campus. Connie was born May 15, 1961 in Santa Monica, CA to the late Roger E. Deloris Faye (Raleigh) Garrett. She was a fun, bright, gentle, caring, kind, giving and forgiving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Connie was a homemaker who loved her family dearly. She had a green thumb; enjoyed gardening and traveling. Surviving Connie are her husband of 21 years, David Reader; a daughter, Sierra Reader; sons, Hunter Reader, Daylen (Lilly Meadows) Reader, Chad Winstead, and Jeremy Autry; sisters, Vicki Davis, Donna Jean Garrett and Sherri Nulton; brothers, Derrick (JoAnn) Garrett and Tony Garrett and six grandchildren, including her pride and joy, Braxton Reader. In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Leisner and by a brother, Roger Garrett. Funeral services for Connie will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Pierre Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 PM until service time on Tuesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
