Danny Arthur Dick

October 13, 1947 - January 19, 2022

Danny Arthur Dick, 74, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the Linda E. White Hospice House. Danny was born October 13, 1947 in Evansville to the late Arthur, Jr. and Vetris E. (Repphan) Dick. He was a 1965 graduate of FJ Reitz High School and a veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1965 to 1968. Danny had worked as a truck driver for IMI; was a life member of the Westside Sportsmen’s Club and Germania Maennerchor. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating and reading but most of all, enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Surviving Danny are his wife of 38 years, Carrie Jo Dick; daughters, Laura Clem, Karen (Brian) Buschkill and Andrea (Joel) Steele and grandchildren, Josh Clem, Jack Buschkill, Trevor Clem, Drew, Rylan and Lee Steele and Anna Buschkill. Also surviving are a lifelong friend Ray, who was like a brother to Danny; a special nephew, Greg and many other good friends. In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Gores. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street. Masks will be required by anyone who attends the visitation at the funeral home. Private burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
