Edith Elizabeth Loge Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Edith Holder Loge, 94, of Evansville, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 at the home of her son in Los Angeles, California. Edith was born April 16, 1927 in Stanley, Indiana to the late Thomas and Mary (Miller) Holder. She was a fabulous mother and grandmother; that enjoyed dancing and big band music. She also enjoyed traveling making several trips to the Caribbean, England, France, Germany and Austria, with her late husband Hayden. Edith was a former member of Berean Bible Church, and a member of Salem Church of Darmstadt; as well as the Coterie Club and Central Turners Dance Club. She had worked as a Dental Hygienist and later in Quality Control for Bristol Meyers. Surviving Edith are her daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda (Loge) Bates and Donald Bates; son, Marc “Skip” Loge; grandchildren, Ryan (and Felicia) Bates, Rhett Bates and Regan (and Colby) Bates Henderson and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Hayden Loge. Funeral services for Edith will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December14, 2021 at Pierre Funeral Home. Pastor David Peterson will be officiating. Burial will follow in Tupman Cemetery.
