Harold L. Davids Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Harold L. Davids, 70, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Harold was born March 19, 1952 in Evansville to the late Harold Davids and Gayle (Davis) Wallace. He worked for Whirlpool Corporation before retiring in 2010. Harold was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a 44-year member of the West Side Nut Club and a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and loved his wife, children, grandchildren and his two cats. Harold is survived by his wife of 46 years, Donna (Barron) Davids; by a daughter, Abby (Jamie) Davids; two sons, DJ Davids and Gregory (Nikki) Davids; three grandchildren, Tye Whitledge, Mekinleigh Davids and Megan Davids; three sisters, Doris Grant, Shirley Cree and Karon Davids; three brothers, Gary (Kim) Davids, Donnie Davids and Dean Wallace and a special niece, Dawn (Danny) Wick. In addition to his biological parents, Harold was preceded in death by his foster parents, Jay and Joyce Evans; by a sister, Sharon Hester and by brothers, Darrell Davids, Randy Davids and Keith Davids. Funeral services for Harold will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Theodore Tempel officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until service time on Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
