Jacqueline Joan Head Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jacqueline Joan Head, 83, of Evansville, passed away at her home on Sunday, July 17, 2022. Jackie was born December 24, 1938 in Newton, IL to the late Robert and Roxie (Jourdan) Michl. She was a member of Howell United Methodist Church and worked in the Vanderburgh County Clerks office for over 20 years before retiring. Jackie was very involved in her children’s lives, serving as their taxi driver taking them to all of their activities. Surviving Jackie are a daughter, Melissa (Tommy) Turpin; four sons, Michael (Susan) Head, Mark (Kathy) Head, Matthew (Kim) Head and Mitchell Head; two sisters, Vickie Rohr and Carolyn (Doyle) Warfel; one brother, Thomas (Elaine) Michl; grandchildren, Christopher (Kristen) Head, Laura (Ben) Green, Andrew (Katharyn) Head, Jana Head, Joseph Head, Alexis Head, Logan (Kris) Turpin and Emily Turpin; six great granddaughters and two great grandsons. In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Joseph Head in 2021. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Gene Backes officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Tuesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
