Kaden Robert Vera

Kaden Robert Vera, 14, of Evansville, passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Kaden was a freshman at Reitz High School where he was an honor student; a member of the freshman football team and a state qualifier for the diving team. He was a great jokester; a black belt in karate; enjoyed listening to music, watching Anime, eating Ramen noodles, rolls and Gummi bears. Kaden loved spending time with his friends and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Surviving Kaden are his parents, Roland, Sr. and Lisa Vera; a brother, Roland Vera, Jr.; grandparents, Patrick and Rebecca Harp, Ronnie Taylor, Veronica and Ron Mendina and Robert and Jeane Vera; uncle, Eric Taylor, aunts, Tracey Taylor, Vivian Pritchett and Veronica Gutierrez, aunt and uncle, Noel and Lance Laake; uncle, Robert Vera, Jr. and uncle and aunt, Rodney and Laura Vera; cousins, Paige Becton, Layne Laake, Kaylea and Matt Wamble, Blake Becton, Hazel Wamble, Gabrielle Gutierrez, Joshua Pritchett, Brittani Selman, Robert Vera, III, Kameron Vera, Macy Vera and Payton Vera. Kaden was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dianna Taylor and by a cousin, Thad Becton, Jr. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Sunday at The Cathedral, 5000 North First Avenue, Evansville, IN 47710 where there will be a service celebrating Kaden’s life held at 7:00 PM.
