Sandra J. Elbrink

Sandra J. Paul Elbrink, 73, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital. Sandra was born March 4, 1949 in Evansville to the late Harold and Alice A. (Westfall) Paul. She grew up in Posey County and was a graduate of North Posey High School. Along with her late husband Bob, Sandra operated both Dogtown Boat Ramp and Angel Mounds Boat Ramp during the height of boating in the 1980’s and early 2000’s. Always the animal lover, most remember her three-legged dog, “Buttons”. She was also a member of the Riverbend Association; enjoyed NASCAR and worked as the secretary for Elbrink Electric for many years before retiring. Sandra is survived by her sister, Cheryl Mayo; niece and caregiver, Toni (Rexing) Smith; stepchildren, Laura (Mark) Hawkins and Todd Elbrink; grandchildren, aunts, uncles and many cousins. Although she never had children, she loved all of us, including nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and even the neighbor kids. She was preceded in death by brothers, Allan and Mike Paul.
