Kyle Weis

Kyle Thomas Weis, age 18, of Evansville passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010 as the result of an automobile accident. Kyle was a 2010 graduate of Mater Dei High School where he was a starting defensive lineman on the football team. He was currently playing football for the Ohio River Bearcats. Kyle was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He loved four wheel drive trucks and country music. Surviving Kyle are his mother and stepfather, Kris and James Sullivan of Evansville; father and stepmother, Joe and Rhonda Weis of Evansville; his sister, Valerie Weis of Evansville; stepsister, Cara Lynn Phillips of Evansville; brother, Elijah Sullivan of Evansville; stepbrother, Frankie Sullivan of Evansville; grandparents, Vernette Weis, Lillie Webster, Rodney and Cheryl Higgins and Delcia Lee and Bill Kisner, Sr., all of Evansville and Brian and Patty Rodgers of Newburgh and great grandparents, Art and Donna Rodgers of Evansville and Wanda Lee Whiting of Evansville. Also surviving are aunts, Debbie (Johnny) Girten of Uniontown, KY, Renate Stephens of Evansville, Kathy (Chad) Giesler of Jasper, IN, Wendy Endocott of Kentucky and Lisa Rodgers of Ft. Collins, CO; uncles, Mike (Vicki Skelton) Sullivan, Kevin (Lisa) Kisner, Bill Kisner, Jr., all of Evansville; Paul (Natalie) Weis of Cincinnati, OH, David (Jill) Weis of Evansville and Tim Rodgers of Newburgh; two great uncles, Harold Webster of Evansville and Ken (Kathi) Howe of Irvine, CA; his God parents, Don and Elaine Kuhn of Evansville; girlfriend, Haliegh Casteel and many cousins and friends. Kyle was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Weis and great grandfather, Ed Whiting. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, June 11, 2010 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Rev. Jim Blessinger officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street, where there will be a memorial service held at 5:00 P.M. Friends may also visit from 9:30 A.M. until service time on Friday at Corpus Christi. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Pierre Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses or to the Mater Dei Friends and Alumni Association
